On Wednesday the Kotuku team went to Avonside Girls High School (AGHS) to watch the play they were performing.

The Kotuku team walked down to AGHS at about 12 pm. When they got there they were led into the auditorium to be seated. It took roughly 5-10 minutes for the play to begin. The play was called Footloose.

Footloose was full of fun and magic. They danced and sang along with the music and gave a great, entertaining performance. Footloose involved years all the way from 9-13. It also included boys from Shirley Boys High School (SBHS). The play was two hours long with a five minute break in the middle. 

All in all the play was a hoot and we recommend going to one of their plays if you can!
