Uniform Policy
The approved school uniform is to be worn whilst at school and on visits away from school.
Sports uniforms will be issued by the school. At other times, when children are representing the school, uniforms may be issued. For some activities students may be exempt from wearing the Uniform Policy eg. camps.
All of our uniform items can be purchased from The Warehouse at Northlands Mall, either in store or online (www.thewarehouse.co.nz/c/schools).
School Jackets – these can be ordered directly through the school office.
Uniform
Summer - Uniform should consist of plain black shorts/leggings/culottes, black & red polo shirt and approved sunhat.
Winter- Uniform as for summer with an additional choice of plain black track pants & red polar fleece and approved beanie. Black socks/tights and suitable safe footwear.
Sunhats
It is compulsory for all children during Term 1 and Term 4 to wear an approved sunhat when outside. The sunhat must be a wide brim or a bucket style (no caps). Hat colour should be red or black and must be named. School branded sunhats are available for purchase through the school office.
Other Notes
· Studs or sleepers only to be worn in ears. Not in the nose or other parts of the body.
· The colouring of hair is not allowed.
· No make-up or nail polish.
· Only safe footwear allowed. No jandals, high heels, clogs or platform shoes allowed.
All school clothing and equipment should be clearly named.
The school cannot accept responsibility for damage to or loss of items of personal property brought to school (toys, watches, electronic devices etc). Cell phones are to be handed to the classroom teacher at the beginning of the day.
