Team 3 have been working on some incredible art. They have been designing Commonwealth Games medals! It took 1-2 days to design the medals.

They designed the medals by going onto TinkerKad, they used 3D shapes to design the shape of the medal and could get letters and numbers to add to the design of the medal.

When they put in the numbers, they have to press a button called “Hole” so they could see the actual numbers and letters. They could also experiment with the thickness of the medal. 

The could also choose any shape they wanted.  Once their designs were finished, they submitted it to their teacher then printed it off on a 3D printer. It took Mr. Morell and Mrs. Haythornthwaite 10 hours to print off all the students designs.
