EPro8 Challenge
The EPro8 Challenge is the inter-school science and engineering competition. Every year over 10,000 students from 800 schools from throughout New Zealand take part. Students take part in a series of competitions and events designed to promote science and engineering.
Teams of four students will compete for the title of their regions EPro8 Challenge Champion. Here's what our students have to say about it:
'I've enjoyed EPro8 because it's a fun way to learn how to build using bolts, wingnuts, wheels, gears, and metal rods. You have to work together to complete the challenges.' Logan
'I think EPro8 is really cool because there are lots of different creations to make with all of the parts.' Xavier
'I like EPro8 because I like inventing things and I think other student's are going to love it too.' Fergus
'EPro8 is really fun and I can't wait to try more challenges like the shark project.' Luca
'EPro8 is fun because there's so many challenges to complete and you get to build with your friends.' Finn
'I enjoyed using the EPro8 kit because it was fun to work with other people I don't usually hang out with. I didn't know it was possible to build such amazing stuff with the kit.' Hamish
