Fitness Time!

Every single day the Kotuku Team do Fitness (except if its raining.) You would probably be thinking 'NOOOO!!!' but it is actually fun...

Every time we do fitness we first put on our shoes (of course) then we all met up, and the teachers tell us who's going first, or if we are all going together and which way we are running.  After we figure out what we are doing we start running around the field! It depends on how the day is if we run 2 laps or one! At the moment the last person to get past their first lap is when the teachers blow the whistle, (as long as everyone is running/jogging.) 

Some people can go faster than other people; for example: some people run 4 laps in the time that some people can run 1! Some people can run 2 or 3, and some people can only run one. But in my opinion it doesn't really matter how long/far you run as long as you ran! After we have had our run for the day we all met up at the court for a game! The game that we have been playing at the moment is all in tag with a twist! I'll tell you how to play the game if you don't know already! Firstly the teacher says go and you basically just tag each other, but if you both tag each other at the same time you have to do paper, scissors, rock! The person who wins paper, scissors, rock stays in and the other is out. But here's the twist: When you get tagged or lose against somebody playing paper, scissors, rock you lose one arm (put it behind your back and can't use it anymore.) But if you lose both arms you are out and you go to the side of the court. Once your on the outside of the court your still out but you can try and tag people while being behind the line! When we get lower and lower in players the teachers/people who are running the game make the court smaller and smaller by moving the people on the outside around behind a different line. When there is one person not out at the end wins! Then after the first game (depending on the day,) we may have another game! 

So that is our fitness for each day! 😀  (We do sometimes change the game up, and if some people don't want to play that game they can sit on  the side and play a quiet game, or they can keep running!)
