What's been happening in the Pukeko Pārua so far.

Brett Morell —

What a busy week and a half we have had in the Pukeko Pārua.

Welcome back to Term 2 and we are very excited about all the fun and exciting learning planned over the coming weeks.

Term 2 has begun with a hiss and a roar. We have been developing our art skills through charcoal drawing, while also starting to learn all about the Otago Gold Rush. This inquiry ties in nicely with our trip to Riccarton House in week 4.

We also had some amazing coaches come into school to teach our girls all about football and promote the women's world cup this year. There is more information on that in a separate article.

Math has seen us learning about algorithms, while also making sure we are setting our books out correctly.

Finally Miss Hanford has begun her Future Problem Solving group on a Friday focusing on AI. The rest of the team cannot wait to find out all the cool things they will learn and share back.
