Earlier this term the Kereru Team were working on letter writing. The tamariki got to write a letter to someone that inspires them. One of our students sent a letter to J.K Rowling.

Today Liam got a reply! He was so excited to get his letter back all the way from England! What a fantastic learning experience. 

When I got my letter I was so surprised that she had written back! I showed it to my friend and he couldn't believe it either. It was sent by the owl post like in the Harry Potter books. - Liam
