The Year 5/6 Cowles Basketball Competition started this week and it had all the thrills we could've hoped for!

The Rebels:

Consists of a gnarly combo of seasoned pros and some keen beginner athletes. 

Bentley, Max, Joshua, Jonah, Ozi, Ezrah, Braxton, Elliot & Liam. 

Their first match was a toughie. The Queenspark Falcons had very strong players but we managed to keep cool, calm and collected. As a completely new squad, I was very impressed with how they worked together and rose to the occasion. The boys lost the match but we know we can play some top quality basketball. The best is yet to come!

Well done to Bentley who was player of the match.

Now for the dynamic Dazzlers...

We have built on the brilliant success of last years girls squad...

Lizzy, Keira, Jessica, Esta, Sophie, Katie, Ashlee, Amelia, Layla & Zion.

There was much to celebrate on Wednesday when the girls had their first match. Bromley have traditionally been very competitive and our girls had to work together and be positive to have a chance in this match up. Wow! All the spectators were blown away with the skills and teamwork that was on display. Even better that we came away with an impressive win!!!

A huge congratulations to Sophie who was player of the day. 

Next week we will introduce you to the Parkview Brawlers, who had a bye this week.
