Parkview Pārua has been well represented by three teams of children at the Eastern Sports Touch Rugby season in Term 1 this year. Each team plays and practices on the Monday.

The three teams are from Year 2 & 3, Year 4 & 5, and Year 6 & 7, and the teams have been coached and managed by volunteers from within our school community.  Without these people we couldn't run these teams.

Our coaches were -

• James Darnell and Jesse Edwards Year 2 & 3
• Paul Peawini Year 4 & 5
• Scott Earl Year 6 & 7

Our managers were -

• Tahlia Boynton - Year 2 & 3
• Steph Tolley - Year 4 & 5
• Gretchen Earl - Year 6 & 7

We have been especially pleased for the Year 2 & 3 team who once again made it to the Touch Final and came second overall for the tournament.

Touch Rugby is a great summer sport to be involved in - we will be looking for the next season's teams in Term 3.  Please keep your eyes open for this opportunity for you and your children to be involved.
