On Thursday our Yr 3/4 basketball team fought a mammoth battle in the final of the Mini Rams division at Cowles Stadium.

It was a very physical and fast game and our team fought back to narrow the lead Banks Avenue had over us. The children all showed awesome strength and determination over the whole season. It was a great result to finish second in our first outing in this tournament. 

Congratulations to the whole team: Leonjay Westerlund (captain), Ayaan Mudaliar, Nate Weastell, Tyson Munro, Liam Meyer, Shae McKenzie, Tamara Peters, Gerald Tafireyi and Ryan Newitt-Isaks. A big thank you to our parents who supported the team each week and to the Team 2 teachers that cheered from the sideline.
