Room 14 and 15 have done a comprehensive study on Shakespeare.

 We learnt about his early life and his progression into writing plays, sonnets and poems.  Each day, Room 14 discussed one of his many famous quotations still relevant today.  Mr Bifield, a student teacher in Room 15, produced exerts from his plays, which the children loved.

William Shakespeare - known as the 'Bard of Avon' was an English playwright/poet who created over his life time a body of work that established him as the greatest writer in history.  He made famous the innovative 'Globe Theatre.'

His great ability was the creation of new and radically different way of portraying the foibles, flaws and idiosyncrasies of mankind.
