Today Heidi (one of the people from the Kotuku Team writing groups) has put together a piece of writing for you to read! Her writing is about an argument between cats and dogs. I hope you enjoy!

                                                 CATS OR DOGS

Dear people,

Today I am writing to you to argue whether Cats or Dogs are better.

Here is why you should choose cats:

Cats are more friendly and cuddly companions. They are easy to sit on the couch with, they aren't much of the energetic type so you can do stuff and they won't mind.

Cats are more Self-Dependent, they clean and walk themselves, they don't need much from us; all they need is a house, food, and water. They can even find their own food sometimes.

Cats have Kittens! They are small little fluff balls of cuteness. They all scamper around, fight and play. When you sell them you make other people happy, and get money.

Here is why Dogs are better:

Dogs are more Friendly, not as self aware of what is going on around you. They don't care when someone comes up to pat them, and are just overall friendly.

They are fun to hang out with, they are always friendly. You can take them for walks, throw balls and play frisbee with them. Then you will both have a fun time. They are also always excited to meet people!

Always there to hang out, they never leave you. They are always there when you need to hang out and don't leave you alone. They are very loyal and kind to all humans and nice animals.

I have come to the conclusion that dogs are good for some people, and cats are better for others. I am a cat person myself, but I still like dogs! I hope you have made your decision! It's always personal choice for you, and never let anyone judge you on whats the best animal for you!
