Team 4 QE2/Archery Tag Trip

Jack Smith —

Kia Ora School Whanua😁 On Thursday This Week Team 4 Went to QE2 for their end of year trip.

Team 4 was split into two teams, the Year 7's and Year 8's. The Year 8's did archery tag first, whilst The Year 7's went swimming.

Archery Tag was basically firing arrows with Marsh mellow like ends on them, making them soft enough that you can fire them at each other without hurting anyone. They first practiced shooting cones and large inflatable bunkers and then at other students. All the students in the group would be split into three teams, 1, 2 and 3, to play a score based game, were, if you hit an opposing player your team would get a point, or if your team caught an arrow, they would also get a point.

While the other students were shooting each-other, the others were swimming.  These were the areas the students were aloud in

1. Kids pool

2. Playground

3. Hydroslide(If you paid)

4. Lazy River

Every student from Team 4 got a chance at swimming and archery, besides the ones who stayed back.
