Kererū Ice-cream in a bag
This week the kererū team made ice-cream in a bag as part of our report writing unit.
As part of our scientific report writing topic, the Kererū team all made ice-cream in a bag. Before we did our experiment we had to hypothesize what would happen only knowing the ingredients and title of the task. Then we were put into groups and given all the ingredients and equipment and had to read the instruction sheet to make the ice-cream in a bag.
After we made and ate the ice-cream (which was delicious!) we had to start planning the rest of our report. We looked at process, results, data analysis and had to write a conclusion. Having the Chromebooks made this task so much easier as we could set it out, use the online thesaurus to look up scientific words and even include pictures.
