What a whirlwind of excitement we've had in Piwakawaka as we dove into our dodgeball tournament! It's been awesome to witness the enthusiasm and camaraderie among our junior students.

From the very first throw, our Piwakawaka students have been giving it their all, displaying incredible teamwork and sportsmanship. In our P.E. lessons, we've been learning how to throw, catch, and target a ball, and all of these skills are coming together seamlessly. We've now begun playing dodgeball for our end-of-term class tournament.

A huge thank you to our senior leaders, who have not only helped organize the games but have also been there supporting student engagement and fostering a sense of community.

Through dodgeball, our students aren't just learning about the game but also important life lessons of resilience, teamwork, and the joy of friendly competition. Win or lose, each one of our young competitors leaves with a smile on their face and a sense of accomplishment in their hearts.
