Welcome to our first news channel item!😜😆

Our student Design Team have produced their first news item!  This team, Kody, James, Cybella, Anya, Richard and Jesse began working on our cultural narrative with Ngai Tahu last term.  

This work involves using our narrative to develop a cultural theme, possible new school name , logo and names for teams, buildings, and whanau/house groups for our redesigned school.  This process is similar to the journey our local rebuilt schools have gone through and it is really exciting as all new buildings require significant branding ( ie. on all class doors ) and we have a large new building on the way.

This video is the first stage of informing our community of the progress our students have made. The next phase will be to get community feedback on our students ideas and then to progress changes.  The team are working on a logo design competition at the moment so keep an eye out for the next new bulletin!
