My hero!

Sphero - a cool programmable robot! 

All of our Year 5-8 students had an amazing Sphero experience with Nathan from Cyclone this week.

Some inspirational videos were shown to demonstrate what is possible with this awesome robot. The programming is directly controlled by an iPad with a lot of trial and error needed.

Students worked collaboratively to problem solve, take turns and begin to move the robot around a given area. Exploration and engagement were the main aims of the lessons and we definitely achieved that. 

Lots of thinking, lots of laughing and lots of fun - I want one!
