Some of the Year 5/6 students have been making their own tunes. A few future DJ's!

The students have been learning about beat and rhythm.  They have started using Chrome music lab to express sounds and have started writing basic notation music on a music staff.  They will perform some basic beats with instruments and use the App to understand how it all fits together and sounds with timing - Miss Gloag

I've found the music lessons very calming, which is helpful for my learning.  I have a really good ear for music, so have enjoyed improving my ability to keep a rhythm and beat going.  The more lessons I do, the easier it is to keep adding to the music I'm writing and thinking about how it's going to sound.  This is completely original and my own creation. - Tarqueada

In music we have been learning how to write music on paper and on the Chromebooks.  We have been learning about the timing of different music and how to keep a beat and improve our rhythm. We experimented with Chrome music lab by making songs, sounds, beats and looked at different rhythms.  My favorite activity was using Chrome music lab song maker because it was a new Digital tool to help me with my learning. - Clio
