On Friday the 9th of March a large moth was found at Parkview school (seen above).

As you can see there is a large moth in the photo above and this moth was found near Rooms 12&13 and 14&15 in the little walk way between the classes. This moth is approximately 10 centimeters wide and 7 centimeters long. 

This moth was amazing to see and if you see it you will be amazed and your jaw will drop. We think the moth is a  Tarantula Moth that has been imported from a different country, so it must be exotic to New Zealand and that is because we don't really have tarantulas here in NZ.
