A Minute To Win It

Rebekah and Andrea —

The 'Minute To Win It' is a series of challenges involving groups of students.

Every morning, instead of our usual team time card games, Room 21 and 22's team time groups have been participating in 'A Minute To Win It'.

Once each competitor is selected, about five contestants stand at the front of the class, eager to earn points for their team. Some challenges involve things such as picking up a pretzel on the end of a skewer using ones mouth, or stacking Froot Loops, or getting an oreo from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands. Each task has a one minute time limit and a set amount of points for a place.

Each group has a name and various amounts of points. In Room 21 Snicker Doodles is in the lead with 102.5 points!

These challenges are great practice for team work. Teaching the students about the importance of good sportsmanship and being a gracious winner or loser.
