This term has been a long one packed with learning and fun...

The term finished this week with our second Kereru camp in beautiful conditions at Waipara.  We have had Marae visits, Swimming Sports, Leadership Days, Tabloids afternoons, Meet the Teacher evenings, Kapa Haka for Piwakawaka and Pukeko teams, basketball skills with the Rams for our Kotuku team and interschool competition for our Pukeko basketball team just to name a few highlights.

Next term we will have a redeveloped report for parents and student led conferences at the end of the term.  We kick off our interschool winter sports for our Kereru and Kotuku teams and we also have our fun run fundraiser as a fun build up to our school Cross Country.  All of the funds raised from this will go towards improving our grounds and play spaces as unfortunately we need to fund these ourselves.

We also excitedly await the commencement of our rebuild project, which will begin next term!  This will result in a brand new nine classroom teaching space and media centre.  We have a start up planning meeting in the holidays and we are desperate to get the job underway.  Look out for exciting updates on this next term.

A huge THANK YOU whanau for your amazing support this term.  The tragic event has certainly brought us closer together as a team and whanau.  Enjoy every moment with your wonderful children.  They have been fantastic this term and we are so proud of them.  Enjoy the holidays, be safe, and we'll see you nice and refreshed in Term 2.
