Team-3 Frisbee golf

Aysha Young —

On Thursday Week 5 at around 12:00 p.m, 36 students that are on Poutama Rima from Team 3 went to Queenspark Reserve to play Frisbee golf.

The lucky students walked down to Queenspark reserve and ate lunch under a large tree. They ate for around 10 minutes, and then Mrs. Sweney demonstrated how to throw a Frisbee, which landed on the road!😜 Then the students had to find numbers on white pieces of wood.

After that, the students got sorted into three groups, with twelve mini groups  with three people. After they were sorted into groups, they handed out the Frisbee's. The teachers sorted out which teacher was going into each group.

The groups all lined up behind the white wood planks, and then the first person threw the Frisbee. The kids took turns in throwing their groups Frisbee each.

Frisbee golf lasted for an hour and a half, and the students returned to school at 2:25. The students enjoyed this outing very much!
