Te Ara Tuhura Logo Designs!

Ella Hurst-Whitworth —

Throughout the last couple of weeks we have been doing some logo's for Te Ara Tuhura cluster involving 10 schools.

The schools that are involved in our cluster are Rawhiti, Belfast, Queenspark, Parkview Parua, Mairehau High, Mairehau Primary, Marshlands, St Francis of Assisi, South New Brighton and NBC (New Brighton Catholic.)

We are  doing this logo competition between the schools above to see who's logo is going to be the Te Ara Tuhura logo winner! We will be using the winning logo for the Te Ara Tuhura face.

We are including the logo from one of the students that have finished their Te Ara Tuhura logo design on this article. She has made a little paragraph below stating why she has used the colors and design that she done.

"I did this because I feel it represents us moving or following the path of learning. The tree is us growing up and following the journey of learning and knowledge. The stars represent Matariki, a new year and fresh start for the way we learn now. The colours in the background (blue and purple) means confidence and knowledge".
