Parkview Pārua Cross-Country Championships
The cooler weather did not deter Parkview Pārua's finest from competing in the Cross-Country today.
A chilly morning with the threat of rain could not stop our long distance runners from competing in todays annual Parkview Pārua Cross-Country event. Students from across the school took part and produced some outstanding racing!
The large turnout of spectators, whānau and classmates, made for an exciting atmosphere for the racing as did some well paced running and close finishes. Many races came down to a final sprint! See the results below.
Thank you to all whānau and supporters who came along to watch this morning and to the staff who all helped run another successful event. Special thanks to those Kōtuku senior students stationed around the course offering support and encouragement to the runners as they passed by.
But the biggest thanks of all must go to todays runners, who all put their best foot forward (over and over again) competing so hard in their races this morning.
