Mr T has won a Ministry of Education funded Principal Sabbatical for Term 3.

I am delighted to advise that Mr T has won a Ministry of Education funded Principal's sabbatical for Term 3 this year. With only 100 recipients nationally we are really proud of this achievement. This is recognition of the hard work Simon has put in over the last seven years in leading the rebuild, rebranding, numerous site improvements, future focusing our awesome school, together with leading us through the Covid pandemic.

The Leadership Team have been well prepared for this. Mr Kent McDonald will be the Acting Principal and Ms Kerri McManus Acting Deputy Principal. Both are very experienced leaders and will be well supported by our Associate Principal Ms Sophie deThier as the Senior Leadership Team.  

This team will continue to be well supported by our wider Leadership Team of fantastic Team Leaders, Brett Morrell, Gemma Luhetoa and Nicole Gloag.

As a Board we wish Simon a very restful term break and look forward to him returning in Term 4.
