Electrifying Learning!

Ella Hurst-Whitworth —

During the past week the Neptune reading group from the Kotuku Team have been learning about electricity and how a circuit board works.

Here are some of the comments from the students about their learning:

Rhys ~ At reading time we were learning about electricity and how to make electricity out of boxes. It was really fun! We had to make a doc and put 6 quiz questions about a subject of our choice. We then had to print out the doc, then glue it on the box. Then we had to put holes in the box then put golden pins in the holes that we made before. We then put a hole in the top and then put an LED light in.

Liam ~ We have been learning about electricity during reading and how to turn on an LED light using an electric circuit board. We also made a quiz using the board as well. I really enjoyed doing this activity and it was easy and fun to do.

Corey ~  It was fun making the the electronic quiz. It was hardish to make it, but I made it in the end.

They all had lots of fun doing this activity and they hope to do something as fun as this again!
