The year 2022 has been a year to remember for the Piwakawaka's.

It's been a busy and exciting year for the Piwakawaka team at Parkview Pārua School. We've been learning about all sorts of different subjects and learning areas.

Throughout the year our students have shown development in all areas and we have tackled challenges with enthusiasm and determination.

In addition to our academic achievements, our students have also been able to demonstrate creativity and curiosity through a range of activities and projects.

Kids Interviews:  What is something you have enjoyed at school this year?

Teavin: I have enjoyed being able to play rugby and soccer with my friends. I have enjoyed practicing and getting better at drawing.

Macey: I have enjoyed learning with my teacher and having fun outside with my friends.

Devontae: I have enjoyed writing because you can draw your pictures after you have done the writing.

Payton: I have enjoyed writing this year because we write about cool things and playing with my friends.

Jacob: My favourite thing this year has been learning about minibeasts and having fun with my friends. 

Overall it's been a great year for the Piwakawaka's and we're looking forward to another exciting year of learning and growth in the coming year.
