In Team 1, Year 7 and 8 students have been pairing up with children from the junior school to read with them. Most days at 11:00 - 11:20 twelve students have gone down to the classes 1-6 to do reading activities together.

"Each senior student has two little reading buddies from  the junior school. The seniors help the kids spell words, read their reading books and write. The little children read 1-2 books. The senior buddy spends 10 minutes with each buddy."  - Aysha
