Parkview Pārua PCT at Cowles Stadium

Lewis Boswell —

On Tuesday some fast and lucky kids got selected to go to Cowles Stadium for a PCT (Police Competency Test).

They got to run, jump, climb and more! They were selected for their teamwork, fitness, strength and abilities.

They enjoyed learning how to do CPR on a dummy, and seeing how fast they could run. They also got to see a police car and Albert the police bear. They did sprints and lots of other activities and got a free sausage sizzle!

Watch the videos of the teams competing in PCT below!

The Teams:

Team 1: Alexia, Ayla, Lewis and Luca

Team 2: Hannah, Gerald, Jackson and Millie

Absent: Detroit and Tiare

“I really liked the activities and the police were awesome. My favorite activity was probably the CPR dummy.” - Gerald

“It was really fun but I wish it was longer. My favorite thing was the PCT obstacle course and I think we did really well.” - Lewis

“It was really fun and I enjoyed the experience and I liked getting out of school.” - Alexia

“I thought it was really fun, I loved the Need For Speed test and the PCT Test.” - Ayla

Overall we would do it again! It was so much fun!
