Academic Competitions
Every year our students are given an opportunity to enter various academic competitions which are run on different dates.
None of these are compulsory and your child can enter as many or as few as they choose for their age group. The information below explains each competition in detail and the cost for each one. These costs will be applied to your Kindo account.
Each competition has its own cut off date which can change so please fill in the form below ASAP if your child(ren) would like to enter.

KIWI COMPETITIONS
CAM provides the annual KIWI English, Mathematics, Science and Spelling Bee competitions for Primary and Secondary schools.
17 June - 26 July
The annual CAM Kiwi English, Mathematics and Science competitions are skills-based and closely align with the New Zealand Curriculum. Students must be in years 5-10 to participate. The tests are designed by New Zealand teachers for New Zealand students.
The aim of the spelling bee is to help students improve their spelling, increase their vocabularies, learn concepts and develop correct English usage that will inspire confidence and a love of language that lasts a lifetime.
These are no ordinary spelling bees. In addition to the usual spelling, these competitions will include synonyms, antonyms, grammar and vocabulary! The question types will be multiple choice, fill in the gaps and short answer. The competitions have been designed by experienced New Zealand teachers.
There will be two competitions aimed at Year 5-6 and Year 7-8 students.
NOTE: Students will need to have their own individual headphones/ air buds to listen to the audios throughout the competition.
9 - 27 September
