The Juniors are well into their inquiry now.

We have been using the design process. Waikuku have looked at creating planter boxes for our herbs. They designed them and are now building models of their ideas using Lego. Rakahuri designed their own playgrounds and have also made models. These ideas have been inspired by the new play equipment that is appearing around kura.

With the designs of the planter boxes nearly complete we will be looking to construct the boxes soon. If you have any untreated timber lying around we would love to receive it.

The tamariki are building their skills with their writing. We have seen some wonderful independent writing this week. They are gaining confidence in their ability and really beginning to add great details.
