Ngā Tai o Mahaanui and Taerutu
Spring has arrived, or is that Summer? The sun is shining and the learning is on going.
Wiki Tuaiwa (week nine): In Maths, the Year 3 ākonga continue their mahi with fractions, the Year 4's continue developing their understanding of time and Year 5's finish off their learning around area and perimeter.
In Writing, a decision needs to be made, whether to stay or go. The building of solar ovens and designing moon buggies using the Spheros (coding robots) continue in Inquiry and we of course celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori language week).
The Year 3 and 4 ākonga get the opportunity to develop their cricket skills on Tūrei (Tuesday), and we are able to celebrate the mahi shown by our ākonga during our Celebration Assembly on Paraire (Friday).
Camp Sign Ups: Thank you to those that have already signed up their ākonga for school camps. If you have yet to do so, please can you do this ASAP, or email Simon if your child will not be attending this year.
