Week 8

We have been very busy with writing speeches, with lots of hands on learning with measurement, learning about the Matariki Stars as well as continuing with our flight topic in Science. For PE this week each Active Learning Space has had a korf ball session in the gym and this will continue on Thursday next week. 

A reminder to our Year 7s that they have Tech on Tuesday. Please be at school by 8.45. 

On Thursday our 12 Lego League students have a trip to Kaiapoi North School. They will be working with the KNS team on robotics and talking with the students about their projects. Our children will leave school at 9.30am. 

Speeches - The children have until the end of next week to finish writing their speech and to practise reading it. They will deliver it to their homerooms in week 9!
