Restaurants: The planning for our restaurants is well underway for next week. You would have received an email from your child with the invitation. Please could you R.S.V.P by Monday 27th 3pm.

We welcome Allison, our new Teaching Assistant to our ALS. She has had a great first week and we are enjoying her skills and knowledge that she contributes to our ALS.

Documentary: Thank you to our Whānau who have supported their children with costumes and other props for the filming of documentaries. This will continue through to next week. Please remember, that the costumes and props do not need to be brought, encourage your child to find things from around home that they could use.

Puberty: Over the last two Fridays, we have been discussing changes of puberty. Ngā tamariki have listened and behaved with maturity, but this might prompt some questions for you guys at home. We are only covering the physical and emotional changes at puberty.

Writing: The writing this term was for a poem and biography to be completed. during the term, this writing was planned, re-crafted and edited and then published onto Seesaw. Please take the time to hop on to Seesaw and have a look if you haven't already done so. But here are a few that have impressed us.

Behaviour: If you could have a quick chat with your child. As we head into term 4 we are noticing a small group starting to push boundaries, hopefully this is just an end of term/post lockdown tiredness.

We endeavour to plan a programme that is experiential and relative to real life and we have a great term 4 planned.

Our focus is that everyday is a new beginning. This means that our tamariki are given a chance after making the wrong choice to flip this around and be the someone.

Have a wonderful weekend as we head into week 10

Cheers,

Ali and Anna
