A BUSY TERM OF SPORT - Register for miniball, hockey and touch rugby. Basketball update

BASKETBALL

Thank you to all who have registered and are now in teams.  Also thank you to those who have put their hand up to coach.   Your first game is on Friday 16 September.  I encourage all parents to subscribe to the sports alert on our SchoolApp. Dates, times and messages will be sent to via the school app and email.    Uniforms will be given out over the next week.  Please ensure that you have a pair of plain navy blue not black shorts to play in.

TOUCH RUGBY

Touch rugby registrations are open now.  Here is the link - registration for touch. All info is on the registration form.  Please read carefully.  This competition runs from term four into the middle term one 2023.  

  • Each team will need at least 1 if not 2 referees.  This is a must for each team.  And they will require a coach and a manager.  Without these awesome people there cannot be a team.  
  • Registration closes Friday 23 September.

Southbrook touch also run a referee programme for year 7 and 8 students who wish to be referees.  You can work your way through and become a qualified referee.  For more information contact Southbrook touch.  

Uniform - navy blue shorts (own) and a singlet or shirt that will be issued to each team member on Tuesday (term 4) the day before the first game.  

MINIBALL

A 6 week Miniball competition starts on Monday 31st October (Week 3) If you're new to miniball, or a seasoned player who wants to play again fill in the registration form today. And we need coaches!  Please put your hand up.  

Each session starts will include a skill component followed by a game. All games played locally at the MainPower Stadium.
