Opening night tickets are selling fast! We'd love to see lots of staff there

Opening night:

Why come to opening night?   ...you'll get to meet many of the artists in person and check out the art works for sale.  The Sales Desk will open around 8pm - and then you'll get first dibs on purchasing the art!

There are complimentary drinks and food - and you can enjoy the mellow sounds from local band "Fear of the Crowd" - which features one of our very talented parents, Rafi Raja!

Details:

Saturday and Sunday:

We are open to the public from 10am until 4pm - gold coin donations for entry.

The sales desk will be open.

Raffles:

Bring some change for the raffle tickets - we have some donated artworks from artists, as well as a signed cricket bat from local legend Richard Hadlee. Tickets are $2 each and the raffles will be drawn on Sunday just after 4pm.

Why are we having an art show?

To raise money for our kura.  Each piece of art sold over the weekend generates a 25% commission for our school.  So if you're looking for some art for your home or as a gift, please come along and purchase it at our show and support our school.

All of the money raised is going towards subsidising the cost of camps and trips.

We have more than 55 Canterbury artists exhibiting a variety of different pieces over the weekend in September.  Our guest artist is Joel Hart - and he is also creating a bespoke mural for us in the gym - it's going to be very cool!

Please help us make this fundraiser a big success:

Please support our school and share the details of our art show with your friends, family and work colleagues.

A BIG thank you to everyone who has offered to help out over the weekend - we really appreciate it.
