We have had a fantastic start in the Year 6s and 7s. It was great to see NZ win gold on Thursday!!

A warm welcome to Pippa, Madison & Nina - 3 amazing new year 6 students into our ALS. 

 We have been looking at people and animal migration in the afternoons, multiplication and division in mathematics, and the children have been working on 3D art! We had a fabulous start to buddy time on Monday. We started a buddy reading programme where we read to our buddies and and they read to us. 

Friday saw the start of our rotations of Science, Te Reo Māori with a kai focus, sport around the world, mindfulness and digital animation. 

We look forward to another busy week in our ALS. 

Week 2:

Year 7's have tech on Tuesday - Please be at school by 8.45

Year 7 families are invited to coffee and cake with Bruce the principal of KHS. 7 - 8.30

Sonya's homeroom to please bring something white to tie-dye on Friday. e.g.,Pillow case, t-shirt, socks
