Work is about to start on an exciting new art work in our gym!

I am super stoked to share that Joel Hart will soon begin work on a new mural designed for us!
Joel is a very successful local artist - and school parent - and we are looking forward to seeing him in action here at school soon.
The image above is the concept drawing for the mural. It'll be going on the inset wall in the south east corner of the gym.
The title of our mural is: Chosen Paths: navigating chaos in a changing world
"Chosen Paths," a vibrant mural that tells an inspiring story of resilience, hope, and the power of choice. It explores the delicate balance between chaos and calm, all while addressing the pressing issue of climate change through abstract imagery that serves as a metaphor for the choices we make.
The mural is visual journey that reflects the intricacies of our lives. The fractured, dynamic patterns symbolise the chaos that often surrounds us, representing the challenges we face in our ever-changing world. Yet, amidst the chaos, there are pockets of serene beauty and tranquility, symbolising the calm we can find within ourselves and our environment.
"Chosen Paths" also serves as a reminder of our responsibility to the planet. It encourages us all to reflect on the paths we choose in our lives and the impact they have on our surroundings.
The mural is a source of inspiration, a reminder of our potential for positive change, and a celebration of the beauty that arises from embracing both chaos and calm on our journey through life.
