Our awesome community event will be on Thursday 8 July and I would love to gather some support to help pull it together.

It is that time of the year again and I would love to gather some support for this upcoming event on Thursday July 8th.

We have secured the hāngī kai cookers from Kaiapoi High School. In order to save costs we would like your support in either of these ways:

- donation of kai; meat, potatoes, kūmara, cabbage, pumpkin, bread,

- help to organise, prepare, oversee and issue hāngī on the night.

There will be the baked potato extravaganza happening as well. This will require help on the day to bake the potatoes and bring along on the evening. Fillings will be supplied.

We would also like to run some workshops for either adults, tamariki or both. If you have a skill or know of someone who has a skill they can share, we would love to hear from you.

Any other ideas are most welcome so that we can make it another fantastic night. (Singers, weavers, artists, taiaha, poi, Mau rākau....)

Any help no matter how small is welcome. Please let me know by email if you are able to support us.
