Week 8 in the Middle ALS

Simon Crawford —

Welcome to our new fancy weekly newsletter.

Another week done and dusted. This week we adventured to Russia, explored electrical circuitry, began to produce our amazing Matariki display, organised our writing using paragraphs, manipulated numbers and ate a whole lot of pies.

It was a sad week as we farewell Ian, as he heads off to Auckland, Miss B (who will return in Term 4 as part of her teaching studies), and Ila B will be farewelled this week.

Thank you to our awesome helpers on Tuesday afternoon (Charlotte, Heather, Michelle, Karyn), for sorting 1472 boxes of pies. It turned out to be a fantastic fundraiser for our Term 4 camps. Thanks to the Naked Baker, we have four tasty Mexican Family Pies still available for purchasing. Jen would love to hear from you - first in, first served.

Week 8's learning will see us continue to learn about Russia during our Global Monday discovery, enjoy our Passions on Tuesday, continue to discover healthy living and wellbeing on Hauora Wednesday, and hangout with Newton as we discover all about gravity.
