We are swimming adventurers: With the team's Waiswim coming to an end, it is amazing to see so many adventurers! It was two weeks of 'firsts' for many children - first time putting their head under water, first time jumping in the big pool or the first time getting changed by themselves! The kaiako were very impressed with all the firsts and are so proud of their tamariki.

Thank you: Waiswim does not happen without A LOT of work in the background. A big thank you to our Sports Leader Jen Loffhagen for her initial organisation. Thank you to the amazing swimming instructors and staff at Kaiapoi Aquatic Centre. Thanks to the teachers and support staff for all the extra efforts to ensure everything went smoothly. A final massive thanks to our parent help whose extra pair of hands were very much appreciated. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

We are Matariki thinkers and creators: The Matariki display is ready for everyone to come and visit. It shows what amazing thinkers and creators the tamariki are. Come along on Thursday to see the team's Arts through SDG Life Below Water and mahinga kai focus. The lined artwork using the style of Cliff Whiting, the debut single "Whitebait Waiata", the Rakahuri and Waikuku landscape made with river stones, weaved harakeke whitebait nets and the team's digital book are some of the highlights. The song and digital book will be shared via Seesaw for whānau to enjoy in their own time.

Week 9: This week will see the team return back to normal routines across the curriculum and looking at the photo below, the children are ready to get back to them!
