New Kaiako for 2024.

My name is Rosie Yeatman and I am a new teacher here at Pītau-Allenvale School for 2024. Next year you will find me over at the Pītau Uru Satellite along with Strathern and Victoria.

In 2022 I graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Primary Teaching and Learning, then started to relieve here at Pītau- Allenvale School. In term 3 I was lucky enough to become a regular release teacher for the school. This experience has given me many opportunities to get to know the students within the school, which I have thoroughly enjoyed.

Outside of teaching, I coach gymnastics. I have been coaching gymnastics for ten years now and over this time I have had many experiences that will be useful in a school setting. These include building strong relationships with children, connecting with their whanau and structuring training sessions to meet the needs of all.
