Come check out all the underwater themed artwork we are making this week in room 2!

This week we have been painting some underwater themed art, we have been exploring the use of different mediums for painting, such as finger painting, paint rollers, foam sponges and marbles.

For our yellow submarines and seascapes we chose our own equipment to paint with from a few options, sometimes we used more than one medium in our art.

We noticed that different equipment left different sizes and shapes on our picture. Some of us started with fingers but saw the paint roller was better for painting large pictures and the sponge and our fingers were better for smaller details.
