The students in Taumanu have had a fun time getting back into our classroom routine.

We've had a great start to our term! Our students have really enjoyed settling into our daily routines, diving into numeracy and literacy activities and the best part... they've been having heaps of fun doing it.

This term our topic focus is celebrations and whanaungatanga. We have been learning about celebrations within our community, around the world, and have been getting to know each other at the same time. This has been creating a sense of belonging and connection for our staff and students.

This theme also ties beautifully into our school value of uniqueness where we celebrate our unique identities and what makes each of us special in our own way.

Another exciting part of our term has been getting to know our new staff members, who have brought fresh energy and enthusiasm to our learning environment. We are excited to welcome more new entrant students to our hub over the next few weeks.
