This term we have been participating in weekly dancing and games, this time its Boccia.

Each week we come together for a dance session with our resident DJs Bex and Daisy. They take us through a range of music genres while the class moves around the dance floor, interacting with a range of sensory tools. Bex has put together some new and exciting things equipped with flashing lights to immerse us in the moment.

We have also had a go at some games that test our physical abilities. This weeks example is Boccia. The game involves throwing leather balls onto a small indoor court, with the aim to land the ball as close as possible to a white target ball. We started with a ramp, a soft ball, and some tins filled with noisy object to get us underway.

The class has really enjoyed coming together for these activities, for some it has been a new experience and others a familiar fun activity.
