North West and Rakahuri Zones in action for the Primary School Canterbury Cross Country.

On Wednesday June 9th we had our athletes participate in the Primary School Canterbury Zone Cross Country's.  We had runners in both Rakahuri Zone (Rangiora) and North West Zone.  This was the first time that most of our students participated in these events.  It was great to see the determination from our athletes.  

Some of the results are:

1 km race for athletes with disabilities Rakahuri Zone - Johnandrew Smith 1st place and Kereama 2nd place.

1 km race for athletes with disabilities North West Zone - James Brown 1st place, Isaac Paiva da Silva 2nd place, Messiah Auvae 3rd place, Jett Bolt 4th place, Izak Hamlin 5th place and Brayden Jamieson 6th place.

What an awesome effort by all the runners that represented Allenvale School and don't they look smart in their running gear?
