This term has held a few highlights in Nest 1 and that means we need to say thank you to the people that support our programmes.

Louise comes to our class once a week and brings musical magic with her guitar, song choosing board and bubbly enthusiasm. Nicole sets us up challenges in the PMP room and patiently leads us through new physical and coordination skills. We are really impressed with our students' growing ability to follow a fun sequence with growing confidence. The Therapy team comes and shares their wealth of knowledge and reflection to help us institute practical ways of working on communication and independence within our day. Ed gives us fun exercise challenges and facilitates a swimming programme. We really appreciate the input they all have in our classroom. Behind all of this fun and learning our class are so lucky to have two important people who we couldn’t be without. They are the people you glimpse in our photos, organising, praising our students, encouraging, caring for, challenging, and supporting. So on Support Staff Appreciation week Nest 1s biggest, resounding thanks goes to Salote and Sai. Thank you to them for their immensely hard work, humour, support and reflective professionalism. Thank you for your fun, we all appreciate you very much.
