Seesaw Update 2023

Megan Poultney —

At Pītau-Allenvale we communicate and report through Seesaw. The app provides whānau with the opportunity to engage in their child's school life. Seesaw is where your child's learning lives.

If you are not yet connected on Seesaw, we invite you to contact your child's class teacher and request login information. This may be a printed sheet with a QR code, an email, or text invite. There will be instructions to follow, or you can watch the video linked below to help you with the signup process.

  • Download the Seesaw app or go to app.seesaw.me in a web browser

  • Click ‘I’m a Family Member’

  • Printed Invites: Scan the QR code

    Text/Email Invites: Click the link

  • Follow the prompts to create an account or sign in

We encourage you to regularly engage and comment on Seesaw reporting and celebration posts. This is a great way to be involved in your child's learning. Comments can be typed into the comment box or posted as a verbal comment using the microphone button.

Seesaw messages can also be used to contact your child's teacher privately.

Please contact your child's teacher if you are having any difficulty connecting and viewing your child's journal, or if you would like to add additional whānau to your child's journal.
