1. Woman’s Disability Bowls day this Saturday at the Halswell Bowls Club! Open day for young women to come and try Lawn bowls with their peers and family! Run by NZ Bowls champ Tayla Bruce. Light lunch provided. Contact Tayla Bruce taylabruce22@gmail.com.
2. Netball Multisport with Manaakitanga program at the brand-new Nga Puna Wai Netball Centre. Awesome skills, drills, and fun play. Four inclusive multisport events for a diverse range of participants. Multisport with Manaakitanga brings together five sports associations in one location for participants to try, themed around important life skills and designed for our kids. Poster attached. Four sessions across four months starting 11th of February. 10.30am. This should be a great day out for the family!
3. Olympia Gymnastics. Move Ability Program for young people with a disability. Group gymnastics program in Hornby with foam pits and tramps. An awesome program. Sundays at 12.30pm in Hornby. Registration below! Contact Emma, emma@olympia.org.nz

4. All Abilities Cricket. One of the most popular disability programs in Christchurch. Starting the 18th of February and running at the Sir Richard Hadlee Sports Centre. Poster attached. Contact Rebecca Gillett rgillett@canterburycricket.org.nz to register!
5. Primary School Disability Play Partnership. Back for term 1 2024 at Nga Puna Wai Sports Hub. Starting at 12.00pm on the 7th of March for three weeks! See poster attached and get registered through school sport login now! Last term was a big hit! Poster attached.
6. Youth Town’s Disability Basketball Community. This program provides young people with a disability, a safe and inclusive place to train and enjoy basketball. This programme is FREE and will run 8 weeks each term. Contact Holly Beynon holly.beynon@youthtown.org.nz. Poster attached.
7. Pioneer Panthers Inclusive basketball team! Panthers League is a 3x3 skill-based program offered in summer for players with intellectual and physical disabilities. The Panthers league offers a fully inclusive, safe space for players to learn skills and experience game play.

8. Hockey Without Limits. Brand new inclusive Hockey program coming to Christchurch! Looking to start Sundays early March at the Nunweek Park Hockey Turf. Many of you who tried hockey at the school partnership can now get involved regularly! More info to come here but please let me know if you are keen on this.
9. Halberg Games! Separate email to follow but this is Halberg’s pinnacle event at Kings’ College in Auckland! Remember these opportunities are only here if we continue to take advantage of them. Your son / daughter may not know how to play these sports, but that is OK! The first step is getting them there to see what it is all about. Any questions please don't hesitate to contact me at school.
