Teachers and specialist staff work together, to provide our students with quality experiences and opportunities.

During term 1, we had the opportunity to take a small group of students to the Christchurch School of Gymnastics. We saw how happy and regulated the group were on returning to school and wondered if the whole hub would benefit from the activity. With a whole lot of planning and organising, we had our first session last week. As expected, it was an overwhelmingly positive experience, enjoyed by all who went.  

To focus on goals and skills, our specialists teachers have developed a programme, based on individual goals and needs. Some of these goals include to assist development of hand-eye coordination, strength, balance, co-operation and coordination. We are fortunate to have staff with a 'can-do' attitude. Together we are able to work around barriers to ensure our students have access to quality programmes, in a specialist environment.
